Who We Are

Our mission at American Heritage Bank is to meet the banking needs of individuals, families, and businesses in our communities by establishing long-term relationships through superior customer service, dynamic banking products, and community leadership.

We believe actions speak louder than words. We support our residents, schools and municipalities by being involved and visible in the communities we serve. Engaged and giving are two trademarks of our success since 1905.

Customer service is our priority each and every day and we simply have the best employees in the business to take care of our customers. We are honored you have entrusted us to be your financial partner and thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your family.

American Heritage Bank has been an independently owned and operated community bank since 1905. After more than 110 years, American Heritage Bank is still a name you can trust. We're proud of our history and believe in investing in the communities where we live and do business.
American Heritage Bank is one of the oldest banks in the Tulsa area. In the early 1900s, the world's largest oil field was discovered in Glenpool, Oklahoma, and AHB links its beginnings to this discovery. The Bank opened its doors in 1905 with $25,000 in capital and a board of directors comprised largely of oilmen. Three of these - F.B. Ufer, P.J. White and Harry F. Sinclair - went on to form Sinclair Oil, one of the largest oil companies during the mid-1900s.
In the 1930s, Guy L. Berry, Sr., led the Bank as President during some challenging times. His son, Guy L. Berry, Jr., succeeded him in 1957 and later served as Chairman of the Board until his death in 1980. A third generation, William L. Berry and Guy L. Berry, III, currently serve as Vice-Chairman.
In 1969, American Bancorporation, Inc., our holding company, was formed positioning us for phenomenal growth through the purchase of many area banks and savings institutions. Since December 1, 2012, we have added nine locations through acquisitions in Bartlesville, Barnsdall, Cleveland, Pawhuska, and Tulsa. We now have twenty-three locations in fifteen area communities and employ around 300 people.
American Heritage Bank believes in the importance of participation in local activities, not only financially, but with the time and talents of our employees, officers, and directors. The Bank takes its citizenship duties seriously by maintaining the highest standard of ethics and integrity.
American Heritage Bank's legacy of stability, professionalism, and high quality service is at the very core of commitment to provide the financial resources our customers and communities need to grow and succeed.
